Description

This thermopile incorporates infrared radiation or “IR” technology that provides many benefits over conduction methods of heat transfer. These benefits include better performance and reliability as well as ease-of-use and overall simplicity when incorporating movement into a design. IR thermopiles also allow ambient temperature readings to be factored-in, thus providing greater accuracy and temperature control.

Download the below program for an example of how to read this Analog sensor. The FTC SDK will supply a value from 0-5 representing a voltage.

In your configuration file, name an Analog Input “light” and name a Core Device Interface Module “Device Interface Module 1”
